If we consider the
first generations of professional CD modules which
have lead to the CD-Pro2M, this product has a long
genealogical ancestry. Starting with CDM12
Industrial, each new generation has brought a lot of
improvements coming from the new technologies which
appeared for the past years in the digital audio
domain.
Thus, looking at the CD-Pro2M module, we can see a
highly sophisticated product, including the most
recent technologies in optical laser adjustments and
digital audio decoding.
Above all, we can see an audio-dedicated product :
in contrary to some CD-ROM mechanisms coming from
the computer industry, the CD-Pro2M has been developed
exclusively for the audio market. As a consequence,
a lot of attention has been paid to data retrieving,
jitter and audio processing in order to provide the
best performances in audio playback.
Thus, the CD-Pro2M remains the reference in
