As DAISy has always been at
the leading edge of new technologies, our technical
staff has developed an extensive knowledge thanks to
15 years of experience regarding audio or
audio-video products: our engineers are glad to
provide a dedicated technical support to
manufacturers about our range of products in order
to reduce time-to-market period for the introduction
of their players.

Then, our Test and Quality
department aims at testing and evaluating the
quality and reliability of laser discs
applications: specific tools have been
developed in order to guarantee the highest
performances of our products, as well as an
excellent reliability. The benchmark tests
have been performed in five specific areas:
audio performances, video performances,
playability, copy protection systems, and
mechanical tests. An excellent reliability and
the best performances in the OEM market are
obviously what manufacturers expect from our
range of products for their high-end players.

Thanks to the launching of
the GyrFalcon products, fully developed by our
technical department, all our audio modules are now
compatible as they make use of the same DSA
Interface, a communication protocol highly
appreciated by our customers. It means that
you can easily connect any GyrFalcon modules to the
same displays/user sections, or use one of our
display kits: the development task for our customers
is now simplified thanks to the flexibility of our
applications. Besides, we developed our own tools to
evaluate our DSA-based audio module: thus, the DSA
Evaluation Board allows set makers to connect one of
our modules to their PC thanks to the on-board USB
interface. Then, we designed the GyrFalcon DSA
Interface Manager which is basically a proprietary
software that can simulate all the functions of an
audio player and even more...
