Developing a user interface for one of our modules is
now very easy thanks to our range of standard VFD
display kits. Indeed, all our modules make use of
the DSA bus protocol; hence a display board based on
that protocol can be connected to any module, with
the same user functionality.
Since 1994, DAISy was one of the first OEM suppliers
to offer complete VFD display kits together with our
range of modules.
A vacuum
fluorescent display (VFD) is probably
the display device which has been the most commonly
used for audio-video players since twenty years
because of their excellent readability, a high reliability, as well as a
long lifetime cycle. In fact, they are probably the
display devices the most affordable regarding the
ratio quality/price.

software development, our range of VFD display kits
should fulfill your expectations: it includes all
key components of the display section.Different
types of VFD displays are available in our kits
depending from your applications (CD, SACD) with
different sizes and electrical/optical
specifications that manufacturers require. Thanks to
the GyrFalcon modular concept, all these VFD display
kits can be used whatever the module you choose. These
kits are composed of the display, a display driver,
a user microcontroller, an Eprom programmed with a
standard user/control software and an infra-red
receiver.
