The user control firmware has been developed by our team of software engineers and includes many innovative features :

	Modular User Software : The same software is used whatever the display kit and loading system you have selected
	Menus : Many options can be accessed through the menus
	Keyboard Configuration : This option let you assign the function of your choice to any key of your front panel
	PWM Tray Speed : 4 levels of PWM tray speed are available to customize the open/close cycle of your players
	VFD Color Filters : You can select the colour of your choice for your display thanks to these filters
	Dimming : 6 dimming steps are available for the display brightness

Modular User Software : 

The same user software (supplied free of charge within our kits) can be used whatever the loading system and the Display Kits you have selected.

Menus :

First, the setup menu enables final-users to access all settings of the user control interface : up-sampling, analog output, CD text, etc ...

On the other hand, the set-up factory menu is dedicated to manufacturers in order to customize the user interface according to their design : tray speed, keyboad mapping, flags, etc ...

Keyboard Configuration :

The User Firmware provides great flexibility for keyboard configuration. As you can see below, it is indeed possible to attribute any command/function to any key of the front panel: it means that you can easily re-map your keypad according to the final design of your audio players.  

PWM Tray Speed :

Combined with a front loading module, the new user software gives the possibility to adjust the speed of the tray movement. Indeed, a PWM control of the tray, including up to 4 different speed levels, has been implemented to customize the open/close cycle of your players. 
PWM, or Pulse Width Modulation, refers to the method of applying a square wave signal to a tray that will vary its speed by changing the signal duty cycle, as described by the diagram below:

VFD Color Filters :

You can select the colour of your choice to display information thanks to these filters which can be applied to any of our VFDs :

Dimming : 

A dimming option, providing 6 levels of brightness, has been implemented in order to increase/decrease the luminosity of your display.
