Compared to a classical CD handset, a
remote control handset dedicated to SACD
applications includes some specific functions
inherent in the features of a SACD disc: for
instance, the “Audio” key aims at changing the
Hybrid SACD playback layer. Another example is the
“Sound Mode” key allowing you to select the
audio configuration that you want: Multi-channel,
Virtual Surround, Stereo, etc…. It is one of the
reasons why you need a dedicated handset for SACD
applications.
The GF SACD1 includes these specific functions
dedicated to SACD. However, another relevant aspect
is that the GF SACD1 is made of an alumimium metal
case in order to match the high quality of our
modules and our loadings mechanisms. Thus, this
remote control handset is made of a slim and
ergonomic design perfectly compatible for your audio
systems.
Based on the well-known RC6 protocol, the commands
of the GF SACD1 handset are sent via modulated
infra-red signals and are of course suitable for our
infra-red receivers. Last but not least, a bare
surface to implement your logo is available on the
bottom of the case.
