physical interface to select these functions.
Indeed, from navigating into the On Screen Display
(OSD) menu to select the sound mode, the range of
possible options is so wide that you need a complete
DVD infra-red remote control handset to send all
these various commands.

key functions required on a DVD remote control
handset. As a result, we are glad to offer the GF
DVD1, a high-end DVD infra-red remote control
handset. Built on a slim and an accurate design,
this high-value handset contains all the necessary
commands for DVD functions thanks to 40 different
keys. Like all our handsets, you are free to
customize your handset with for instance the name of
your company.
The GF DVD1 uses the Philips standard RC6 protocol, which is an advanced version of
the famous RC5 coding system: as a result, the
commands are sent to the DVD player through
modulated infra-red signals. The infra-red receivers
from our display kits are naturally compatible with
these handsets.
