Thanks
to our 13 years experience in electro-mechanical
design, our engineers have developed the GyrFalcon
Full Metal Loader as the ultimate high-end solution
for audio and video applications. This 100% metal
design is a solid and robust loader: indeed, the
chassis, the sub-chassis, the clamper bridge and the
drawer are completely made of metal. In addition, a
great care has been taken to select high-quality
metal components to ensure the best reliability and
avoid any oxidation issues with a chromium plating
treatment for corrosion free design.
As you might be aware, the CD-Pro2 LF is the most
successful top loading module since 14 years on the
high-end market. As we had many requests from
manufacturers to develop a front loading version of
this module, we decided to develop the GyrFalcon
Full Metal Loader, a front metal loader dedicated to
the CD-Pro2 LF. However, this massive metal loader
can also be combined with the GyrFalcon 6 for
CD/SACD applications, the SD6.3v for DVD
applications and even with the GyrFalcon 8 for CD
applications.
Besides, the mechanical design of the GyrFalcon Full
Metal Loader brings some innovative features like
for instance a noise reduction system based on
stainless steel polished rod and high quality
bearing: It aimed at reducing unwanted resonance
caused by high disc speed rotation for DVD or SACD
applications. In addition of this noise reduction
system, a vibration-free mechanism system has been
implemented thanks to a steel bottom plate in order
to provide you a perfectly reliable solution.
The GyrFalcon Full Metal Loader has to be
mounted with three holes in order to get an enhanced
stability and a shockproof mechanism.
Thanks to a specific mechanical design, a great care
has been taken to ensure a smooth and quiet drawer
movement. To provide you the perfect reliability
that the high-end market requires, this metal loader
has been tested with more than 40.000 open-close
cycle tests without any particular issues.
Finally, a full die cast tray has been designed for
the GyrFalcon Full Metal Loader in order to provide
to manufacturers lower tolerances and higher
consistency. This tray is a 6 mm low profile drawer,
fully composed of metal with a large thickness and a
clean square edge at its extremity, so that you can
use the die cast tray with or without a tray front.
The finishing of the die cast tray has been improved
with nano-coating for high grade perceived values.
To conclude, the GyrFalcon Full Metal Loader is a
versatile design which has been consciously
designed, as we took into consideration the future
traverse mechanisms/applications that we will
supply.
