An innovative
slot-in mechanism |

Dedicated to audio-video
manufacturers, the GyrFalcon Slot is a slot-in
mechanism especially designed for the GyFalcon 6,
the GyrFalcon 8, and the SD6.3v: it is consequently
suitable for CD, SACD and DVD applications. Indeed,
you just have to combine the GyrFalcon Slot with the
Servo Decoder Board of the GyrFalcon 6 or GyrFalcon
8 in order to get a complete module.
Like all our modules, it has been meticulously
tested by our Test and Quality department to avoid
any noise related issues. The noise level is
consequently very low as it is less than 65dB during
the insert/eject phase of a disk. Then, several disc
formats can be inserted in this mechanism: CD, CD-R,
CD-RW, SACD, DVD, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW depending from
your applications. The loading/ejecting time of a
disc has also been optimized to be included between
3.5 sec and 4 sec.
Another important feature is that the GyrFalcon Slot
can be used in horizontal and also in vertical
position, which would probably offer to audio video
manufacturers an extended choice of design for their
coming high-grade players.

GyrFalcon 8: The GyrFalcon Slot
can be combined with the GyrFalcon 8 to reach
outstanding performances for CD applications.
GyrFalcon
6: The GyrFalcon Slot
can be used together with the GyrFalcon 6 audio to
become the reference for audio-only applications.
SD6.3v: The GyrFalcon Slot is also
compatible with the SD6.3v for audio-video
applications. The optional P-Scan board can also be
connected to the SD6.3v and the GyrFalcon Slot.
