As DAISy has always been a pioneer regarding
new technologies, our company is glad to announce
the launching of the Blu-Ray BRD01module. This
high-definition module will fulfill the most
advanced technical requirements of high-end
audio-video manufacturers, so that they can launch
their Blu-Ray disc players in a short term period.
Among the main features of this module, the BRD01 is
a Blu-Ray profile 2.0 that consequently includes the
most innovative optional network connections (BD
live!) thanks to an Ethernet output. In order to
guarantee the best performances required by high-end
players, the audio and video streams can
be output through the HDMI interface (HDMI 1.3
supported) as soon as you have selected the
requested up-scaling (from 480p to 1080p/24).
As regard to audio decoding, the main processor can
handle most of the current multi-channel formats: Dolby Digital
(AC-3), DTS, DTS-HD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby
TrueHD. Last
but not least, the audio 7.1 channel is supported.
A Blu-Ray evaluation kit including the BRD01 module
is available in order to evaluate the astonishing
performances of this high-definition module.
