The VAM1223 is a top loading
mechanism which has been developed by Philips in
order to provide an attractive price for high-end
manufacturers.
This mechanism has been specifically designed for
audio industry like CD players, CD transports or
music servers, with constraints related to the audio
environment.
The VAM1223 is very similar to the well known
VAM1202 which has been widely used in the audio
market, expect the fact that it is dedicated to top
loading applications and is composed of an
ornamental plate and a ball clamper.
