DAISy
has been established worldwide has the leading
company supplying various state-of-the-art optical
laser modules dedicated to audio-only or audio-video
applications. As
you might be aware, the module is usually the master
piece of a player: the module is made of a mechanism
and a servo board. Thanks to that servo board, the
necessary optimization process has already been made
during the development and production phases of the
module.

The
standard versions of our modules are most of time
provided with a plastic loader or supplied as a top-loading
version. However, we are able to provide to our
customers various loading possibilities for some of
our modules in order to meet the expectations of the
high-end market and to match the high quality of our
optical laser modules: thus, in addition to our
standard plastic loaders, a range of full metal
loaders and a slot-in mechanism can be supplied and
adapted to some of our modules.

The
Universal Evaluation Kit (U.E.K.) is available to
test all the products that we currently supply
(modules, loading mechanisms, display kits, remote
control handsets, audio-video components, etc…) in
order to define what would be the most suitable
items for your project. This Universal Evaluation
Kit is basically a modular system, made of various
boards, allowing you to connect all our products and
check the functionality of your applications.

In
order to make easier the development of the user
interface, DAISy can supply a range of display kits
including the latest technologies. This range of
display kits includes firmware which takes care of
the user commands and drives the displays
accordingly.
|
|
|
|
To help you with the
manufacturing of your players, DAISy proposes a
range of “ready -to-use” boards which you can
integrate directly in your mass production.
This will save you long and
fastidious hardware developments
while providing reliable solutions.

|
|
The
displays kits can be used together with our range of
remote control handsets including various models :“cost
efficient”, high-end or aluminium metal handsets,
depending on your applications.

|
|
|
To
complete our range of products, different
audio-video components can be selected for high-end
applications: for instance, we offer a range a Progressive-scan
boards with HDMI output, which can be connected to
our DVD modules.

|
|
|
Finally,
DAISy is able to supply a range of various products
sold separately like for instance CD mechanisms:
however, these mechanisms require a serious
knowledge of optical data retrieving as you would
have to develop the electronics which controls the
optical unit. Then, we are also able to provide to
audio-video manufacturers a large range of "display
-only devices” (without the display kit) with the
most innovative technologies. To complete our wide
range of products, we can propose some reliable
Power Supply Units especially designed for some of
our modules. Different types of cables are also
available for the development of your players based
on our modules.
