In
order to send commands, you can use the shortcut which are grouped under the function
buttons. For instance <F2> will spin up the
disc, but will not play a song. The module will spin
up the disc, read the table of contents (TOC) and
then go into pause at the start of the first track.
If you want to play a song, you will now have to
type in the command : 1 <tracknumber> <return>
The function button <F7> will read the
table of contents.

Format of the command
You
can input commands in different
formats:
You can type
the commands in a decimal
way, for instance : 1 1 <return> will play track 1.
You can also type the commands
in a
hexadecimal way. The numbers have to be
preceded by a "$" character, for
instance : $70 $01 <return> will put the audio output mode to I²S
format 1xFs speed
You
can also use one of the function buttons F1 through
F12. The function of these buttons is defined in the
DSA.INI file which is read out by the program at
start-up.
